About the principal consultant

Dinesh Satija

MS Planning is led by Dinesh Satija. Dinesh is a competent Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) and International Professional Engineer (IntPE) registered with Engineering New Zealand. Graduating as a Civil Engineer in 1985, he carries over 30 years of experience in the construction and project management of infrastructure projects. Dinesh completed his Masters of Engineering Management (2006) from the University of Auckland and also qualified as a Prince 2 Professional in 2016. With this, he has also presented papers on trenchless technology and CCTV at various conferences in New Zealand.

Lately, Dinesh has worked as a Development Engineer and Project Manager at Watercare for eight years. He has effectively managed multi-million dollar projects in Auckland. This added to his extensive experience in construction, commissioning, strategy and planning and delivering technical and specialist professional services to ensure programmes meet time, quality and financial requirements. Last but not the least, Dinesh is recognised for his strong customer focus delivery and commitment with planning, designing and project management.
